CPXI MOTHERBOARD

This is a custom two slot compact PXI motherboard where the slots are arranged vertically, rather than horizontally as typically seen in backplane configurations. The board accepts a small CPU daughter board, WIFI mini-card, and custom plug-in peripherals. The stack-up consists of 4 signal layers and two ground planes. Controlled impedance traces were used for the SATA, USB, PXI, VGA and LVDS signals. The board size is roughly 6" x 10".
